One night in 2009, mother of four Lynda Cheldelin Fell lost her third born, her 15 year-old daughter Aly, in a car accident. At the time, Lynda didn't know anything about the memorial world, and didn't think to ask the funeral home for her daughter's fingerprints or a lock of hair, nor did they mention it.

In the years since that tragic night, Lynda went on to create the award-winning Grief Diaries anthology series, hosted the National Grief & Hope Convention, and founded the International Grief Institute.

In her work around the nation, Lynda saw many unique heartfelt gifts offered by funeral homes, yet most people don't shop in funeral homes. Lynda created the marketplace so mourners like her are aware of options such as fingerprint gifts and cremain-infused keepsakes.
